Xavier Rolet KBE
Chief Executive

Appointed to the Board in March 2009 and appointed Chief Executive on 20 May 2009. From 2000 to 2008 he was a senior executive at Lehman Brothers and, most recently, CEO of Lehman in France. Prior to Lehman Brothers, he held senior positions at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson from 1997 to 2000, Credit Suisse First Boston from 1994 to 1996 and Goldman Sachs from 1984 to 1994.

David Warren
Chief Financial Officer

David was appointed Chief Financial Officer and joined the Board as a Director on 2 July 2012. David previously spent 9 years as CFO at Nasdaq OMX, where he was responsible for all financial operations, including accounting, SEC and regulatory reporting, treasury, tax, risk management, financial planning and analysis, corporate finance and investor relations. Following this, David spent two years as a Senior Adviser to the CEO of NASDAQ OMX. Prior to his time at Nasdaq OMX, David held a number of senior finance roles, including 7 years at CS First Boston.


Suneel Bakhshi
Chief Executive Officer, LCH Group

Chief Executive Officer, LCH Group. Joined in February 2014 from Citigroup with over 30 years of experience in trading, banking and risk management. Most recently he was President and CEO, Citigroup Global Markets, Japan. Prior to this, he held several senior risk roles, including leading its Emerging Markets Corporate Bank. Previously, he held a number of senior banking and markets roles, including Sales and Trading in CEMEA, Fixed Income Derivatives Trading for Europe and Derivatives in Japan.

Chris Corrado
Group COO, Group CIO

Chris Corrado was appointed Group COO and Group CIO in November 2015. Chris was previously Managing Director at MSCI, CIO/CTO, responsible for technology, data services and program management from 2013. Chris has more than thirty years of global experience in managing technology platforms and transformational change in the financial services industry. Prior to joining MSCI, Chris held a variety of senior CTO roles in leading banks, including Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch and UBS. He has also worked for high growth technology companies as CTO at eBay, CIO at AT&T Wireless, and SVP of Technology, Strategic Initiatives and Business Architecture at Asurion, the mobile technology protection company. He began his career at IBM. He graduated with a B.S. in Management Information Systems & Business Administration from the University of New York at Albany.

Diane Côté
Chief Risk Officer

Diane Côté was appointed Chief Risk Officer and joined the Executive Team on 1 June 2013. Diane was previously Aviva Plc's Chief Finance Operations Officer. Previous to this, Diane held the position of Aviva's Chief Audit Officer. Diane has many years' experience holding senior positions within Aviva and other leading organisations, including Standard Life Assurance. In addition, she is a Non-Executive Director at Novae Syndicates Limited.

Serge Harry
Chief of Staff to the Group CEO, Chairman of globeSettle and London Stock Exchange Group Country Head for France, Benelux and Germany

Serge Harry was appointed Chief of Staff to the Group CEO in April 2016. He is also Chairman of globeSettle, LSEG's central securities depository (CSD) in Luxembourg and London Stock Exchange Group Country Head for France, Benelux and Germany. Mr. Harry also serves as a Member of the Board of LCH S.A., and is a member of LSEG's Executive Committee.

Most recently, Serge Harry was Senior Advisor to LSEG CEO and previously advised the Group as an external consultant from 2011 to 2013. Prior to joining the Group, he held international executive positions as Chairman and CEO of BlueNext, a leading global carbon credits trading exchange, from 2008 to 2010, Group Head of Strategy at NYSE Euronext from 2007 to 2008, and CFO of Euronext from 2000 to 2007.

Raffaele Jerusalmi
Executive Director, Chief Executive Officer of Borsa Italiana and Director of Capital Markets

Appointed to the Board in June 2010. In addition to his role as Director of Capital Markets, Raffaele was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Borsa Italiana S.p.A. in April 2010. He is also Institore of the LSEGH (Italy) group of companies. Prior to joining Borsa Italiana in 1998, he was head of trading for Italian fixed income at Credit Suisse First Boston from 1993 to 1998. From 1996 he was member of the proprietary trading group in London. From 1997 to 1998 he was a Board Member of MTS S.p.A., representing Credit Suisse First Boston and from 1989 to 1993 was head of trading for the fixed income and derivatives divisions at Cimo S.p.A. in Milan.


David Lester
Chief Strategy Officer

David joined London Stock Exchange in 2001, and is Chief Strategy Officer, leading the development and implementation of core strategic initiatives across the Group. He is Chairman of Turquoise, the Group's pan-European trading platform for equities built in partnership with major banking clients; Chairman of FTSE Russell, our global index business; and sits on the boards of globeSettle, our Luxembourg based Central Security Depository and CurveGlobal, the new fixed income derivatives trading venue. Prior to this, David worked at Thomson Financial, Accenture and KPMG. He has more than 27 years' experience in financial information and technology.


Mark Makepeace
Group Director of Information Services and Chief Executive of FTSE Russell

Mark is Group Director of Information Services of London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) and Chief Executive of FTSE Russell, the global index provider. He is a member of LSEG’s Executive Committee.

Mark started his career in financial services in 1985, when he joined the London Stock Exchange to coordinate “Big Bang” (the deregulation of securities trading in the City of London). In 1995 he founded FTSE International and grew the index business from a small UK start up with nine staff to become one of the largest and most successful global index providers today. He has over 20 years’ experience of developing successful joint ventures. He has successfully forged alliances with stock exchanges, academics and leading industry groups around the world. He was a founding member of the Index Industry Association and its first chairman.

Mark has been a long‐time supporter of the children’s charity UNICEF.

Nikhil Rathi
Chief Executive Officer, London Stock Exchange plc & Director of International Development

Nikhil was appointed CEO of our London Stock Exchange plc subsidiary in September 2015.  He also has Group-wide responsibility for International Development.
Nikhil joined LSEG from the UK Treasury, where he held a number of senior positions over an eleven year period. Most recently he was Director of the Financial Services Group, representing the UK Government’s financial services interests in the EU and internationally. He served as the UK representative on the EU Financial Services Committee. Prior to that, he was Head of the Financial Stability unit, overseeing a number of the UK’s financial stability interventions during the crisis. Nikhil also served as Private Secretary to the UK Prime Minister for three years from 2005 to 2008.

Catherine Johnson
Global General Counsel

Catherine joined the Group in 1996. She advises the Board and senior executives on key legal matters and strategic initiatives, and previously was head of the Group’s Regulatory Strategy team. Qualified as a lawyer at Herbert Smith in 1993.
