Third Party Connectivity
As an alternative to connecting directly with us, you can also access our services through accredited Network Service Providers (NSPs) and Vendor Access Network providers (VAN).
Network Service Providers (NSPs)
NSPs act as carriers of the Group’s Information and Trading services to our end clients. Our end clients contract with the NSP for provision of network connectivity and sign agreements with the Group for access to our Trading and Information services.
Clients using an NSP connection will have individual service enablements set up on our trading and information systems. The data and trading feeds are in exactly the same format as those received by a direct customer and are subject to the same testing requirements.
End clients employing NSP connectivity will either deploy an accredited Independent Software Vendor (ISV) solution or develop bespoke interfaces to our feeds.
Benefits of an NSP connection:
- Cost effective delivery via your existing network provider
- No intervention, pure Infolect data and direct trading interfaces
- Price execution assurance
- Quick set up
- Consolidated infrastructure
- Scalability – ability to add new services quickly
Vendor Access Network providers (VANs)
Through our Vendor Access Network model, London Stock Exchange Group works in partnership with vendors who have met our accreditation requirements for functionality, security and resilience to provide access to the Group’s trading system via their proprietary networks.
Vendor Access Network providers (VANs) enable network connectivity for the transmission of secure trading data and pre-conformed software applications through which their clients can interface with us.
