London Stock Exchange Group is a diversified international exchange group that sits at the heart of the world's financial community. We operate a broad range of international equity, bond and derivatives markets, including London Stock Exchange; Borsa Italiana; MTS, Europe's leading fixed income market; and Turquoise, offering UK and Russian derivatives trading, pan-European and US lit and dark equity trading. We continue to expand our reach – both in terms of our international presence and the diverse range of products and services we deliver to the financial community.
The Group is a leading developer of high performance trading platforms and capital markets software and also offers its customers around the world access to an extensive range of real-time and reference data products and market-leading post-trade services. We are also home to a world leading index provider FTSE Russell, which creates and manages hundreds of thousands of equity, bond and alternative asset class indices.
As our markets continue to evolve and the regulatory environment continues to change, there are great opportunities ahead for our next generation of graduates. Approximately 4,700 people now work within LSEG, in London, Milan, Rome, New York, Seattle, Paris, Toronto, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney and Colombo.
From your first placement to your third we try to take into account your own interests and ambitions when choosing your rotation, although the emphasis is always on your rounded development and the need to give you a diverse range of experiences.
Support on offer from the day you arrive
We’ll provide you with a ‘buddy’ when you first arrive – someone who’s been through the graduate scheme themselves, who’ll be able to provide you with useful pointers and practical advice. You’ll also benefit from a more senior mentor, who’s independent of your direct reporting line and able to offer advice on your career, networking, building relationships and navigating the firm. The way in which you manage the relationship with your mentor is a matter of negotiation and will depend on your needs, ambitions and commitments.
We are now recruiting for the 2016 graduate programme starting next September.
